Join us for the Miami Pizza Blitz, a fast-paced USCF-rated blitz tournament open to players of all ages and skill levels.

You do not need to be playing in the Pinecrest tournament taking place that day to participate. The Miami Pizza Blitz is a standalone event open to everyone.

Schedule

• 11:15 AM – Check-in / registration deadline
• 11:30 AM – Round 1
• 11:40 AM – Round 2
• 11:50 AM – Round 3
• 12:00 PM – Round 4
• 12:10 PM – Round 5
• Approximately 12:20 PM – Awards & Pizza

$20 through Thursday, September 10
$30 beginning Friday, September 11

Important Rules

The tournament will begin promptly at 11:30 AM.

Players participating in another tournament at the venue are responsible for being available for their Miami Pizza Blitz games. The blitz tournament will not be delayed because another game is still in progress.

No requested half-point byes. A player unavailable for a round may receive a zero-point bye and return for subsequent rounds.

A current US Chess membership is required to participate in the rated tournament.
