This event begins at 7:15pm on Saturday 3/21/26 and is the Florida State Scholastic Blitz Chess Championship. Registration closes at 7:00pm if you do not register online by that point you will not be added in.

This is a side event of the 2026 Florida State Scholastic Championship (USCF Membership can be purchased here and is required: https://new.uschess.org/form/membership **************************************************************
The tournament is 4-Double SS tournament with G/3+2 time control, byes must be requested before round 1. Chess players are responsible for bringing their chess clock to the event, we provide the sets.

There are three sections for this event: K-6, K-12, and Friends & Family (note, Friends and Family we cannot remove school and grade demographics from the form for your section, just place NA and a number to complete registration). The scholastic sections prizes are trophies to the top finishers and is US Chess Blitz rated.
The Friends & Family section have a prize payout percentage based on entries 1st Place: 25%, 2nd Place: 15%, Top U1800: 10%, Top U1200: 10% this section is not rated.
