Name: Monthly Mega Quad – August 2026  
Desc: The Manasota Chess Center will hold a U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) rated Quad tournament for up to 36 players (up to 9 quad sections) on Sunday, August 16, 2026. All rounds are Game in 40 minutes, with 5-second delay. *********************************************
PRIZES: $50 for each quad section winner.

ROUNDS: 3 rounds. Round 1 begins at 10am

ENTRY FEE: $25 if registered online before 9am on tournament day. $30 if registering on-site on tournament day.

REGISTRATION: ALL PLAYERS must have a valid USCF membership ID# to participate. Players can purchase a USCF membership or renew an existing one using one of the following options:
a. When completing the ChessRegister tournament registration form, check the box for “I'd like to renew or purchase a US Chess membership”, and then pay online.
b. Go to the USCF Join page at new.uschess.org/join-us-chess and pay online.
c. At the tournament site, pay for a new or renewed membership during the check-in period from 9:30 to 9:50am.

USCF membership MUST be purchased or renewed before the tournament begins.

End of online registration is 9AM, Sunday, the morning of tournament. On-site/walk-in registration occurs from 9:30AM to 9:50AM. Players who registered online that are not checked in at tournament site at least 5 minutes before Round 1 start time, will be withdrawn from the tournament.
