Shorter day than longer time controlled event. **************************************************************** What is a Quad? Quad tournaments use players' ratings to rank them into groups of 4 players who play a round robin over three games (player #1 vs #4 & #2 vs #3). If the last grouping is not a perfect foursome, then that group will be a 3-round small-swiss tournament of 5 to 7 players. The format benefit is that your foursome is closest to your current rating. **************************************************************** G/50;d5 USCF Dual-Rated 3-round Quads tournament; Limited space at the venue, so Registration can end at any time! ************************************************************** SECTIONS: UPDATED RATINGS/RANKINGS = LIVE RATING!!! Live ratings will be cutoff Friday at Midnight. Players will be ordered by LIVE Rating (Quick ratings may be used if player without a Regular rating) and placed into groups of 4 (Quads) by rating order. No exceptions for friends, family, etc. ************************************************************** TIMES: Please arrive by 11:45 for checking. Round 1 starts at 12:00 PM and then ASAP (R2: 1:30PM & R3: 3:30PM) for each Quad game.  ************************************************************** Note: No Byes permitted in a round-robin event. All four quad members are expected to play the three rounds. ************************************************************** PRIZES: $60 for first place at each Quad (if two players tied for 1st place $30 each).
