Name: 2nd West Palm Beach Scholastic Championship  
Desc: This registration is for the 2nd Annual West Palm Beach Scholastic Chess Championships at the COX Science Center and Aquarium located at 4801 Dreher Trail N West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Students will be competing in sections based on age (K-1, K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12). Students may play up into older sections but it is recommended that they play within their age group unless they are experienced tournament players. This tournament is open to all current US Chess members! ************************************************************** The tournament consist of 5 games of G/25;5. Round times are sharp: 10:00am, 11:15am, 12:45pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm with the awards ceremony following the completion of the last game. ************************************************************** Entry fee: $35 ($50 after 11/18), Trophy to top player in each section, medals to places two through five. US Chess tiebreaks used to decide final placement. Trophy to top team in each section, minimum of three players for a team. Admission to Science Center and Aquarium is included in the entry fee and two slices of pizza, chips, and a drink.
