Desc: Join us for our Champions Quad! All ages and levels of experience are welcome.************************* Sunday, August 16th, 11am-4:30pm *please arrive 15 mins early ***************************************** Temple Terrace 5035 E Busch Blvd, Ste. 7, Tampa, FL 33617 ***************************************** Time control: G/40,d5 (40 min game with 5-sec delay) Quad Tournament Format: Players are ordered by USCF rating, then placed into groups of 4. For example, out of 12 participants, three quads would be created: Quad 1 (players 1-4) Quad 2 (players 5-8) and Quad 3 (players 9-12). In each Quad, there is a round-robin, for a total of 3 rounds. If there is not a perfect multiple of 4, the lowest rated 5, 6, or 7 players will be placed into a mini-Swiss with cash prizes/trophies. $60 Cash prize for 1st place in top two section and trophies for rest of Quads and/or mini-Swiss. YOU MUST PLAY ALL 3 GAMES. ********************************************* Entry Fees: $30 for pre-registration and $35 for day of registration. Prizes: $60 Cash prize for 1st place in top two section and trophies for rest of Quads and/or mini-Swiss. Ratings: Players must have a USCF membership.
